Welcome to my newsletter, the first of 2011.

I am due to go back to Linklaters, a London firm of lawyers, later this month for Pringle Brandon LLP.
They are undertaking a huge refurbishment which has to be done in phases as the building will be occupied during the works. I have already completed the dining area which was very impressive and some meeting rooms, the gym and a rather attractive spiral staircase.

I have just entered the Lighting Design Photography Awards 2011 with the images below and am hoping for the best.The shortlist will be showcased at the London Hilton on the evening of the Lighting Design Awards and the eventual winner will receive editorial coverage in the May issue of Lighting magazine:

On 21st January I had an article published about my work at a new site on architecture and design: www.habitables.co.uk. They are doing a series on photographers and chose me to kick it off. I thought I would use this shot of me photographing a yacht underway off a Greek Island. I was shooting the yacht for the owners and they very kindly shot me shooting them:

David Siverson, Gordon Leney and Winnie Wong who all used to work at HLW International have struck out on
their own and are now called Originate Architects. They have a 550 sqm new build house coming to completion in
Knightsbridge which I am due to shoot in March. Here is an image from their first project as Originate, an apartment
in Kensington:
